October 27, 2008 - Thanks Uncle Dougie!

We decided to try out Adeline's play mat from Doug.  She liked it for a little while (typical Adeline...).  She was actually batting at all of the flowers and butterfly.  So, thanks Uncle Dougie!

October 26th - 2008 Clark Pumpkin Carving

Jason and I carved our first pumpkin together last year.  We (well I) decided to carry on the Clark family tradition.  Grammy and Grandpa Clark baby sat and watched us while we carved.  Adeline slept right through her first pumpkin carving.  Mommy carved some pretty daisys for her and Daddy carved her initials (and ours too!).

Grandpa Clark thought it would be cute to put Adeline in the pumpkin guts bowl.
She fit!  Of course, there wasn't any yucky pumpkin goo in it yet...

October 26, 2008 - Grammy and Grandpa Clark come to town

Day 30... Grammy and Grandpa Clark came for the afternoon.  After our first outing to church with Adeline, we met them for lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.  Addie needed a bath, so after lunch we had bathtime and then pumpkin carving.  We loved getting to see Grammy and Grandpa.  A fabulous weekend with family!

October 25, 2008 - Mimi and Steve visit

A full day!  After Syrup Sop, Mimi and Poppa (I'll refer to Dad as every name I can think for a Grandfather until he decides what he wants to be called).  We went downtown for lunch at Mellow Mushroom and walked around.  Toomers was rolled - definitely not for football - but we took some pictures with Addie Jane.  We had such a good day and loved seeing Mom and Dad.

Thanks for a great day and visiting.  We love you!

October 25, 2008 - The Poka

Day 29...  We took a family outing to Loachapoka.  They have an annual even, Syrup Sop.  So, David, Scott, Bud, and the Clark family decided to see what it was all about.  We got a couple biscuits to sop the locally made syrup.  Adeline slept most of the time minus her lunch in the car in the middle of our adventure.

October 23, 2008 - West Virginia Game

Day 27...  We went to David and Scott's house for a football get together.  Adeline did really well with all of the noise.  She even managed to sleep a little.  She did however make sure to spit up (A HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT!) all over Daddy.  He didn't mind sporting milk clad pants and vest all night...

She just fits!

What a good sport
